Monse Mendoza-Martinez

Monse is a 2nd year returner as a Summer Intern and now officially part of the #LUCYFam and is excited to be part of the Afterschool Team. She started off as a youth during her senior year here at LUCY Outreach and continues to give back by returning as both a volunteer and intern during undergrad. Monse graduated from Rutgers University- Camden Campus with a Bachelors in Science in Chemistry and a Bachelors in Arts in Sociology. She is extremely passionate in working with youth and changing lives. Being part of LUCY so far, she has coordinated fun-educational trips, tutors all grade levels, teaches STEM and Ballet, all while being a fulltime student. Monse is currently in Graduate School for her Masters in Chemistry at Rutgers University, 23′. This is super exciting for her and plans to enhance her skills as a Cosmetic Formulator and Beauty Advisor in the future. Stay tuned and next time you see Monse ask her what’s her favorite Element!
