Join us and make a difference!

Join LUCY for Days of Service Volunteering, where we partner with organizations like Holman, Subaru, St. Joe’s Prep, Domenica Foundation, Campbells, CHOP, and Good Shepherd School, among others, to create positive change. Help us tackle community needs through organizing, cleaning, and other impactful projects. Together, let’s build a stronger, more compassionate community.

Small Group Project Ideas

          • Old Building 
              1. Giang/ Kate/ DOF new office (2nd floor)
                1. Clean & organize shelves, remove storage items to supply closet
                2. Reorganize documents, paperwork from shelves, add desks/workspace
                3. Decorate: rearrange shelving to open space, fix curtain, pictures
              2. Kristin’s old office (2nd floor)
                1. Clean & organize all storage items
                2. Rearrange furniture for future CCP staff (4-5 desks)
                3. Decorate (paint/hang pictures etc)
                4. Move TV’s from hallways to downstairs conference room
              3. Giang’s temp/youth office (3rd floor)
                1. Clean, empty & move all out
                2. Set up dress for success career closet
          • Outdoors
          1. Landscape/mulch backyard
          2. Organize shed (clean/remove items/donate old bikes)
          • Basement (Old building)
            1. Sweep/clean floors and shelving throughout the basement
              1. Re-organize all clothing gear by size & item (bins for gloves, bins for pants, bins for coats etc.) 
              2. Clean, wipe down bins, organize outdoor equipment
          • First Floor (Program Floor)
          1. College & Career Prep Rooms
          1. Clean, label & organize cabinets, books, supplies & materials
          2. Decorate!! Would love to paint bright colors
          1. Utility Closet
            1. Organize all supplies, clear floor, get broom holders etc.
            2. Move new Tek bikes to county storage
          2. Kitchen 
            1. Clean & organize counters, drawers, cabinets, and shelves
            2. Sweep and mop floors
            3. Clear out, clean & organize fridge/freezer
            4. Cook/meal prep for summer program
          • Second Floor (New building)
            1. Staff Office
              1. Move out furniture and supplies staff not using
              2. Set up center of office in cool, creative way 
            2. Walk-in Closet
              1. Move program supplies from 3rd floor to 3 shelves
                1. Top- littles
                2. Middle- youth night/summer
                3. Bottom- afterschool

          1. Flex Rooms
            1. Clean, label & organize room to begin using for clubs
            2. Organize books in the flex room by grade level on shelves
          2. Utility Closet
            1. Organize all supplies, clear floor, get broom holders etc.
            2. Make space for Kristin’s desk/decorations by electrical box
