Jared is a current junior at Villanova University, and a Comprehensive Science major,
with a growing interest in Computer Science as well. Although freshman year was a huge
transition, he has settled in and enjoyed the past two years tremendously. Jared has loved
having 3 LUCY friends on campus with him, and often hosts them for dinners and parties on the
weekends. The #LUCYcats (wildcats of Villanova) recently hosted LUCY youth for a tour,
sporting event and lunch in the cafeteria; Jared was excellent with a large group of high school
boys from LUCY!
He has maintained all As and Bs, and is less homesick and less likely to return to Camden
outside of holidays and summer, when he goes to Puerto Rico with his family.
Jared loves to attend different talks and presentations on campus, and is always looking for
ways to learn, grow and network!
Jared wants to say: “I could not finish this update without expressing my appreciation for
every single individual at LCOS and LUCY who has contributed to me being able to make my
dreams of becoming somebody in life a reality. I am excited to see what the future holds, and
know that it is only up for here!”
